एक अहम फैसले में, भारत सरकार ने एशिया कप 2025 में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच होने वाले मैच को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस पर काफी समय से चर्चा चल रही थी। यह फैसला युवा मामले और खेल मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी एक साफ नीति दस्तावेज़ के आधार पर लिया गया है, जिसमें बताया गया है कि भारत, पाकिस्तान से जुड़े अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजनों को लेकर क्या सोच रखता है।

आधिकारिक दस्तावेज़ में बताया गया है कि पाकिस्तान के साथ खेल संबंधों को लेकर भारत का रुख साफ है। भारत, पाकिस्तान के साथ सीधी (द्विपक्षीय) खेल सीरीज़ के खिलाफ है। इसका मतलब है कि भारतीय टीमें पाकिस्तान में कोई मैच नहीं खेलेंगी और न ही पाकिस्तान की टीमों को भारत में खेलने की इजाज़त दी जाएगी।
हालाँकि, जब बात अंतरराष्ट्रीय टूर्नामेंटों की आती है, जैसे एशिया कप, तो नियम थोड़े अलग हैं। दस्तावेज़ में साफ कहा गया है कि भारतीय टीमें और खिलाड़ी ऐसे टूर्नामेंटों में हिस्सा लेंगे, जिनमें पाकिस्तान की टीमें या खिलाड़ी भी शामिल होंगे। इसी तरह, पाकिस्तान की टीमें भी भारत में होने वाले बड़े अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजनों में हिस्सा ले सकेंगी। यह नीति सिर्फ खेल के नियमों पर नहीं, बल्कि भारत की विदेश नीति और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उसकी साख को ध्यान में रखते हुए बनाई गई है। इसका मकसद भारत को एक भरोसेमंद अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल मेज़बान के रूप में दिखाना है।

सरकार के फैसले के बाद जनता में आक्रोश बढ़ गया
भारत सरकार द्वारा भारत-पाकिस्तान मैच को मंजूरी देने के फैसले का जनता ने काफी विरोध किया। इस साल की शुरुआत में पहलगाम में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद, लोगों ने पाकिस्तान के पूरी तरह से बहिष्कार की मांग की। कई पूर्व क्रिकेटरों ने भी पाकिस्तान के साथ सभी खेल संबंध खत्म करने की अपील की।
यह विरोध तब और साफ दिखाई दिया जब वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप ऑफ लीजेंड्स 2025 के दौरान भारत ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ अपने लीग मैच खेलने से दो बार इनकार कर दिया। बाद में भारतीय टीम ने सेमीफाइनल से भी अपना नाम वापस ले लिया। यह सब इस बात को दिखाता है कि भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच खेल मुकाबलों को लेकर लोगों की भावनाएं कितनी मजबूत हैं।
