बांग्लादेश ने एक रोमांचक मैच में पाकिस्तान को 8 रन से हराकर सीरीज़ का दूसरा मुकाबला जीत लिया। आखिरी ओवर तक चले इस कड़े मुकाबले में बांग्लादेश ने धैर्य दिखाया और एक मैच बाकी रहते सीरीज़ अपने नाम कर ली।
बांग्लादेश की ओर से जेकर अली ने शानदार बल्लेबाजी का प्रदर्शन किया
असमान उछाल और गलती की कम गुंजाइश वाली पिच पर, बांग्लादेश ने मुश्किल हालात में अच्छी बल्लेबाज़ी की। पाकिस्तान ने पहले गेंदबाज़ी चुनी और बांग्लादेश ने 20 ओवर में 133 रन बनाए। जेकर अली ने 48 गेंदों पर 55 रन की संभली हुई पारी खेली और टीम को संभाला। महेदी हसन ने 25 गेंदों पर 33 रन बनाकर पारी को तेज़ी दी, खासकर जब बांग्लादेश 28 रन पर 4 विकेट गंवा चुका था। पाकिस्तान की गेंदबाज़ी सधी हुई रही। सलमान मिर्ज़ा ने दो विकेट लिए, वहीं अहमद दानियाल और अब्बास अफरीदी ने भी दो-दो विकेट लेकर बांग्लादेश को खुलकर खेलने नहीं दिया।
फहीम अशरफ की पारी गई बेकार
पाकिस्तान की पारी की शुरुआत बहुत खराब रही। टीम ने सिर्फ 15 रन पर ही अपने 5 विकेट गंवा दिए। इसी दौरान फहीम अशरफ ने 32 गेंदों में 4 चौके और 4 छक्कों की मदद से 51 रन की बहादुरी भरी पारी खेली। अब्बास अफरीदी और अहमद दानियाल ने भी तेजी से रन बनाए, जिससे पाकिस्तान मैच में वापस आता दिखा। लेकिन आखिरी ओवर में फहीम आउट हो गए और पाकिस्तान की उम्मीदें टूट गईं। पूरी टीम 19.2 ओवर में 125 रन पर ऑलआउट हो गई। बांग्लादेश के गेंदबाज़ों ने दबाव में भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। शोरफुल इस्लाम ने फखर ज़मान और मोहम्मद हारिस सहित 3 विकेट लिए। महेदी हसन ने बीच के ओवरों में दो विकेट चटकाए, जबकि तंजीम हसन साकिब ने नवाज भाइयों को आउट किया। मुस्तफिजुर रहमान और रिशाद हुसैन को भी एक-एक सफलता मिली। इसी मजबूत गेंदबाज़ी की बदौलत बांग्लादेश ने 133 रनों का स्कोर बचाया और 8 रन से मैच जीत लिया।
